A puzzle game featuring a ghost that can change forms, and must seek out four treasures in each of ten increasingly difficult levels. Some puzzles are fairly straightforward, while others require some thinking outside the box, and still others are better described as action rooms than true puzzles.

One of the main things I remember from this game is how it draws the rooms. Instead of displaying all at once, the walls appear bit by bit, with a musical effect as the drawing goes on. And it's quick enough that it doesn't feel like an interruption.

Castle Hassle reportedly combines the earlier releases Action Quest and Ghost Encounters, with five levels each, onto a single cartridge. I can't say that I recall there being any appreciable distinction between the two sets of stages.
