7In which I play "Pothole Pete", written by Roy York and Brian Ison, and published by Atlantis Software in 1988. This is a reasonably good looking game. Sound effects are sparse. Control is fine. However, all is not well in Pothole Pete-Land. Collision detection is flaky as all heck. Flaky as H. E. double hockey-sticks, even!
If I had this back in the day, I'm sure I would have played it. Now, with tens of thousands of games at our fingertips, it's not very compelling.
