In which I play "Rescue on Fractalus", developed by Lucasfilm, published by Activision in 1985, and programmed by David Fox and Loren Carpenter. This famous game was the first I remember seeing that featured somewhat realistic "fractal" terrain to fly over. It was very striking at the time, and very smooth compared to pretty much anything that had gone before.

Fly you ship over the planet Fractalus, fight the alien "Jaggies", rescue downed pilots and have fun doing it! 😄
