11In which I play "Star Raiders II", published by Atari in 1985, programmed by Gary Stark and Bruce Poehlman. This was apparently developed as an entirely separate game, and at some point intended as a movie tie-in game for "The Last Starfighter". The name was changed to align with the Star Raiders "franchise", if it can legitimately be called that. Marketing, am I right?!
Anyway, I enjoyed playing this again, and it is very challenging. I didn't even come close to beating the game on level one, let alone level three! I believe I managed to get a look at every feature of the game play, even without doing especially well.
