11In which I play "Submarine Commander", programmed by Dean Lock, and published by Thorne EMI in 1982. This is a nice submarine simulator that strikes a good balance between realism and interesting play. I think a person could get quite absorbed in that, especially back in the day. I only explored it a bit on the easiest of levels, but there are nine difficulties, and if you increased that gradually as you got used to the game, I think there is a lot of enjoyment to be had here.
