In which I play "The Tail of Beta Lyrae", a game in the vein of Scramble, that is actually quite good, in my opinion. It was released in 1983 by Datamost, and programmed by Philip Price.

There are issues with collision detection that detract from the quality of play, which is unfortunate. I ended up playing this one for a fair while and trying both PAL and NTSC system modes; there is no appreciable difference, other than that the music is slower in PAL mode. Speaking of the music, it is very nicely done, and plays throughout the game.

This is one you should play for yourself. It's not easy, but I think it's worth playing.
