6In which I play, eventually, "Awati", which is from the German-language magazine "Computer Kontakt" issue 21 from August of 1986. This was a type-in with lots of peeking and poking. Mostly poking.
The game is Yahtzee, 100% Yahtzee. Called Awati ... for some reason. That is not a German word as far as I can tell.
Eventually I read/translated the article in the magazine in order to figure out how to play, and then I proceeded to complete a very mediocre one-player game. I have a fondness for Yahtzee going back to my childhood where it was played quite a lot.
