A young man is trapped outside of his spaceship and has a realization: his ships AI are actually his real parents. While trying to find a way back inside, his ship takes off, stranding him on a strange planet. He befriends a fellow space traveler and offers to help repair his new friend's spaceship in exchange for hitching a ride.
