The official Audi A1 e-tron specs list say the car develops 45 kW (61 hp) and 150 Nm (110.63 lb-ft) of continuous power with a peak at 75 kW (102 hp) and 240 Nm (177.01 lb-ft). About its performance, the Audi A1 e-tron specs list released by the company says 10.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and a 130 km/h (80.78 mph) top speed.

The Audi A1 e-tron has a synchronous motor mounted low in the front of the car for a lowered center of gravity. The power of the Audi A1 e-tron goes to its front wheels via a single-staged transmission that offers three modes : D, R, N and a "Range" for the range extender.
