The Vizio Via Plus Tablet & Phone are part of Vizio's Via Eco system to which Vizio envisioned a unified eco-system across their entertainment product platform that includes the Vizio Via TV set, Tablets and Cellphone. The Via Plus Tablet is running off the Android operating system, at the time of this video the version of Android was not disclosed, but let hope its 3.0. The cool things to take from the tablet is the home home integration, from the ability to watch a movie on the go on your Tablet and instantly continue right-on your TV set, to using your tablet as a remote control also the UI is tailored to give users a customized feel with the ability to segment your favorite apps. The Via Table does come with a front facing camera for video chat.
The same can be said for the Vizio Via Plus Phone, which also runs an undisclosed version of Android operating system The Phone does have a front facing camera and a Rear camera that records in 720p. The Phone does have the same Vizio Via Ecosystem connectivity as the Tablet. No set launch date was announced but Summer is the targeted period. As far as pricing goes, we know Vizio's prices are very competitive to the market.
