In this lecture/discussion video from my Spring 2013 Introduction to Philosophy class at Marist College, we continue our study of Augustine's On Free Choice of the Will, focusing now on the variety of topics discussed in book 2 of that work. The main, overarching question being discussed is whether God ought to have given human beings free will or not, given that we are able to use it wrongly, do evil actions, and even make ourselves evil through bad use of the will. But, Augustine also discusses the degrees of being, and the faculties of the human soul, and provides an argument for God's existence -- the "argument from truth" in this portion of the work as well
