Satin Bowerbirds (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) observed here are most likely immatures. The glossy black coat of the male isn't fully developed until around 6-7 years later, but the brilliant violet-blue eyes may be an indication as to a young male.

There is a lot of playing around in our garden seen here, with some coloured plastics supplied by us, and others (the blue wrapper?) acquired elsewhere. Some other items the birds here are fond of include yellow and white petals from various local flowers.

Apologies for picture quality in some places - the very worst of my footage has been cut out completely. There are still a few out-of-focus shots included (as I've said in other video descriptions, I either need a new camera or need to get out my tripod more often), and right at the end there are some calls I've left in, despite not having any footage to go with it.

I hope someone enjoys some of it anyway.

Video remains largely unaltered - I've used AI frame stabilisation and enhanced the volume +10dB only.
