Vanilla potion brewing is not very hard, but there are three steps to do, and it can be quite boring to just stand and watch. With this system you can order a certain number of potions and just wait for them to finish while doing something else.

I haven't had any problems, even when ordering lots of potions at once, but if you run into problems you could try two things:
1. Don't order too many at the same time.
2. Change the first interface (with the recipes) blocking mode into "Do not push crafting items..."
