By looking at the title, most of us fans would like to listen to it. But I MUST tell you first the Avatar theme isn't started at the beginning as the track with this name in the OST. I will explain the contents of this video part by part.

** If the animation is not stick with the audio track, try make the video reload (by switching to another playtime) for some times, or try watching in HD if it does not stop all the time. They are supposed to be matched. **

[ 5-4. (12.) "Choose Your Ikran when You are Ready" - 0:14 ]

If the movie is familiar enough to you, you will know which scene is this dialogue from. It's Neytiri showing off Seze to Jake, and tell him something about ikran (banshees). The track is mainly in F# minor and F minor. The "quiet part" with sharps is the explanations of Neytiri; the "animated part" with flats (it's quite difficult to play, and impossible to play the notes equally as the MIDI) is the showing-off flight of Neytiri and Seze.
It's originally named "(4m3d) The Floating Mountains Part 3", or a more lively name "Pandora" in the Deluxe Edition.

Those quotes of Jake during track switching avoids you being bored.

[ 5-5. (13.) Becoming One of "The People" - 2:14 ]

This is the main course. Still, not OST. The theme here is not dotted as the vocal part, it's flute, or something else.. , as you can heard in any version of the movie, the pitch is also higher. I tried my best to arrange it as the harp played, but it's too soft - too hard to listen. The harp rhythm also pasted to the bass part. It would be awesome when someone really play it on a real piano. Besides this, everything is following OST or the movie, except..

[ Deleted Scenes: "Learning Montage Section" - 4:44 ]

I found this when I'm watching CE Disc 2. It is very nice and I decided to arrange it also and make it into this track. Finally I knew this is from "The Lagoon" of the movie "The Thin Red Line", composed by Hans Zimmer. Something is modified by the movie producing team. The part 6:39-7:01 is bad without pedal (you should go see the deleted scenes..), and this is the only part in the whole arrangement book not composed by James Horner. If you can't accept this, you may ... skip it. (but it's very nice though!)

[ Returning to the original track - 7:33 ]

Grace's "Kaltxì ma evi! Tsawl nìtxan nang. Sevin nìtxan lu aynga nang" when she's entering the village. Changed from mainly D# minor to E minor. Please ignore the fact that this scene is appeared in the deleted scenes played before this..

[ 5-6. (14.) Night Iridescence - 7:57 ]

The official name from the Complete Score. You can find something similar to this in OST track 5, this is a good reason to put this track under this title. I also added the synthesized (?) music in the scene Jake and Neytiri playing the fan lizards, arranged in order of the movie - Special Edition.

These are from the Avatar sheet music that I've arranged for piano solo, and probably it is the most complete one. Content of this video started being arranged on March 18, 2010, firstly it was really based on OST, later I decided to make it more following the movie (try compare the end of OST track 5 and the beginning of 6). Those 12, 13, 14 are track numbers of my arrangement, from 1 to 48. I'm trying to make all of my arrangements as close as the soundtrack you can hear somewhere related to the movie. Everything is arranged by ear, I didn't buy the official piano solo book.

This is not the final version. The MIDI is still to be performed by ONE SINGLE INSTRUMENT even on computer. Yes it's piano SOLO but here the meaning of this is that the notes won't hold for the correct time value sometimes when different voices overlap. (Example: 2:27)

By the descriptions you've known more about this 10 (or 7) minutes of Avatar music. Hope you'll like my video and arrangement also. You may get the sheets by the following link.. :)
