The (former) leader of the Greil Mercenaries, Greil or Gawain himself, gets their time in the spotlight! Greil doesn’t really have much in terms of skills in base PoR so I kinda had to come up with a build that suited him. He actually has unused growth rates and bases in PoR so I was able to use those as a base for creating his stats, but his skills I had do some theory crafting. Greil boasts the highest Skill stat of 91 out of all the units in the series (disregarding FE6 Karel of course), so he will essentially never miss his target and has a pretty high innate crit rate as well! His growth rate for skill is 80%! All of his other stats are mostly above average mostly because I am transferring Discipline/Paragon into +10 to all stats in this series, which Greil has in PoR (Discipline). When calculating his stats, I basically just halved his unused base stats from PoR so I could get some “level 1” stats for him for the calculations. I made some minor adjustments to the level 1 stats after halving it however. After that, he got the usual 80 levels to grow in that beorc get. As for his skills, he has access to Aether because he has it in FEH, and it just makes sense for him. He also gets Wrath and Disarm. Wrath because of the whole Lehran’s Medallion thing, and Disarm because, well, he maimed his sword arm after the Lehran’s Medallion incident. (I just wanted to give him a defensive skill because of his average speed and this made the most sense to me lol). Because of his high Skill, he uses all three of these really well. Aether and Disarm proc off of Skill/2% and also helps Wrath because of his already high crit rate!

The skills that I gave him were as follows:
Aether: He gets the skill from FEH.
Wrath: Because he went berserk with Lehran’s Medallion.
Disarm: Because he maimed himself after the Lehran’s Medallion incident. (lol)
+10 to all stats: From Discipline in PoR. (Discipline/Mastermind/Paragon/Elite, etc. are converted to +10 to all stats in this series)

Weapons:
He didn’t need any weapons because Urvan is already in Radiant Dawn.

I used Ike’s Vanguard model for Greil so that the Aether animation would play. Ike still has access to it against Greil, but no animation will play when he activates it because he will be in his Hero class in this video.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
