Astrid is completely overhauled in this version of Average Stats because of her ability Paragon. Along with Geoffrey, she gets a +10 to all of her stats from the skill since it is useless in battle. This really shores up her stats and makes her a very formidable unit in this series. Very good Speed and Luck makes her an excecptional dodge tank, but also with her good HP and defenses, she is a reliable defensive tank as well. The only thing that could hold her back is that her offense isn't the greatest and her mastery skill is one of the worst in the game, Sol, which is just a glorified Crit with a self-heal. The thing that kind of mitigates this "weakness" is that she is able to proc Sol from range with the Double Bow, so her ranged game far surpasses most of the units in this series. Overall, she is one of the strongest units in the RD group.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
