The first unit from the Genealogy series games is here! Julia has some weird stat spread with her growth rates making her a giant nuke with that 100% magic growth. Other than her HP, Magic, and Res, she has some really bad growth rates. The thing that makes her more useable in this series is her special weapon, Naga. The weapon is completely broken (30 Mt with +20 to Skl/Spd/Def/Res) which makes some of the fights interesting because the unit who has a higher BASE speed gets to attack first. However, because when she equips Naga, she routinely outspeeds the units that have a higher base speed even though they technically attack her first. Just in case you were confused as to why she was doubling the enemy after being attacked first. Because she has the high HP and Nihil to work with, taking her down isn't as easy as one-rounding her with Brave Weapons. Even if you have the ability to take her out in one round, there is no guarantee that she won't one-round you after your first attack. Having 100 Magic and a 30 Mt Weapon that also gives her +20 Def is crazy strong! So, the only way to reliably get to her, is to either crit or have luck on your side with dodges. If you are relying on the dodge strategy, you have to be careful because she can also reroll her misses with her other ability, Adept! After I recorded an edited this video I found out that the Circlet that she has in the game gives her access to Miracle and Renewal, which she doesn't have here. I think she would be borderline impossible to defeat with them so I guess it is a blessing in disguise that I don't have much knowledge on the Jugdral games. 😅

I didn't have to really change anything about Naga since it was already completely busted! The Crit +15 is from the Awakening version of the weapon.

I used Ilyana's Arch Sage model, because they look really similar design-wise. Julia did not have access to Flare, but Ilyana did have access to Flare (not that she could use it against her lol) as the Thunder Sage that she was in the video.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
