The next unit from Jugdral with a broken Holy Weapon, Ishtar, is up next! Ishtar is a non-playable unit in the Jugdral games, so I had to run the boss formula on her to get her stats. And because of the ridiculous HP totals from bosses, her HP is at the max of 127 like a few other units in the series at the moment. This also makes her quite tanky for a mage with decent defenses at 42 Def and 57 Res meaning a lot of the non one-shot masteries will fail to defeat her. And even though her Mag is low compared to a lot of the stronger mages in the series, the fact that she has a 30 Mt weapon at her disposal kind of throws that by the wayside. Speaking of her personal weapon, it gives her an extra 20 Skl and 10 Spd which makes her into quite the crit machine even without any Crit skills because of her crazy 76 base skill. This gives her a 48% Crit rate even with weapons without a crit rate! In addition to that, she also has Vantage, which is exceptional on a mage type unit since they can counter all 1-2 range every turn. Meaning if she fails to finish off a unit on her turn, she can take the initiative by proccing Vantage on the enemy's turn. And because the weapon also gives +10 Spd, you will often see her being attacked first and then being able to double the unit afterwards which is also amazing because of the aforementioned bulk making it tough to one-shot her without one of the (albeit many) one-shot masteries. Her other skills that she has are less important than the Vantage, but does give her a little bit of survivability with +5 Res and Renewal from the rings that she carries in the game, the Barrier Ring and Life Ring. She doesn't have access to Adept in this as I don't include class skills in the builds for this series, but as you'll see, she doesn't really need it!

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
