Death holes. Lots of 'em. Deep ones, too. Those were the hazards Nick (@Miner49er1), Traci, and I discovered in the Atlas Mine that we recently explored. I had researched this abandoned mine beforehand and knew that it was extensive and multi-level. Nothing I had read, however, indicated that there would be random, deep holes (shafts) in the tunnel floors throughout the mine! This is one of those mines where losing your light source and having to feel your way out in the dark would be deadly! One of those unseen holes in the floor would definitely swallow you up! Despite the danger, the Atlas Mine certainly was worth exploring since it’s an extensive, multi-level mine. I hope you enjoy my video!
