Awesomenauts is a very charming game with a very interesting unique selling point, it's a 2d moba. But that unique selling point had unforeseen consequences on the game's balance that were never fixed in the game's lifespan.
A number of oversights combined with an extraordinarily fast paced game caused the developers a balance nightmare that was never fixed. The developers no longer update Awesomenauts, so there's no hope of any balance updates, but despite that, I want to take a look at what made this game tick, and what problems it faced.
