Let me introduce to you a challenge version of the game, Azu-Beach! As fun as the original game was, it didn't really provide any challenge. Once you played the game for a little while, you could beat the levels in the main mode with little effort. And if you took the time to look for all the weaknesses with the AI (Artificial Intelligence) with the CPUs, you'd find out how flawed the game really is.

My challenge patch completely fixes that. And no, I didn't go the cheap way out and make the CPU opponents have crazy bulked up stats or ways to "cheat" or make things unfair to the player. These are all modifications of the AI that was coded into the game. Things like reaction time, placement, and actual decisions were modified to make this a challenge, but a fair challenge at that.

I started this project because I had hardly any grasp of the Assembly programming language (ASM). And starting with a complex game like Mario Kart Wii wasn't a good idea. So instead, I decided on a much more simpler game, and well, this is the result of what happened. This was all done using Cheat Engine and Resource Hacker. It turned out to be quite successful and I felt like I learned quite a bit while working on this.

And so, I decided to share this with anyone who wants to give this a try. Now beware, this is a "challenge," so if you haven't played and/or beat the original game, I'd suggest you do so before you try this one out. The download comes with the exe file of the game with no patching or user modification necessary. It also comes with all the custom music and original music that you can freely edit and/or replace, a data folder with some of the game's artwork and sprites, a configuration file, and lastly, a full English guide to the game with a readme (all created by me) to help you get started.

It's an rar file, so make sure you have WinRAR or another program that can extract rar files so you can open it.

This game was modified by me (7NewHope7) in 2013, and I don't intend on claiming the game as my own. This patch is completely free for everyone, and if you paid for it, well, you've been scammed. The custom music in the game is not my own creation either. Simply put, no copyright infringement was intended.
