6,250December 2, 2022, the United States of America unveils the world's first 6th generation stealth aircraft, the B-21 raider! The name "Raider" refers to Doolittle Raiders, 80 airmen who bombed Japan in April of 1942, after the attack on Pearl Harbor. New bomber's cost is some $692 million, and 100 bombers are expected to be part of the Air Force's bomber fleet at Ellsworth Air Force base. The B-21 is smaller in size, and possess less payload, but the cutting edge stealth of B-21 allows it to penetrate the anti-access, area-denial systems, that B-1, B-52 and even B-2 would not be able to enter in future, and can fly with or without pilot. J-SOW and J-SAM Long-range stealthy missiles will be the weapons of choice of new stealthy aircraft, with GPS guided J-dams and Laser guided Paveway bombs for conventional strikes, while B-83s for nuclear strikes. Unlike B-2, the B-21 will require less maintenance cost and man hours to keep the bomber airworthy, but like B-2, this was just unveiling, the first flight is next year in 2023.
