Baby and Toddler Learning Video | I Like It When | Reading for Babies | Reading for Toddlers
Hi friends! Let’s read I like it when!! 🐧 My little ones absolutely love this book (I’m sure you can tell by the cover and it’s our third copy 😂) and I hope your little ones do too 🥰 I tend to call the caregiver mama since I’m reading it to my littles, but feel free to change it to any loving caregiver your little one may have (mama, dada, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa etc) 🤍 The little penguin joyfully shares everything that he likes with his penguin parent. When reading, you could act out and point to what they’re doing such as holding hands, eating, tickling, dancing, reading a book, hugging, splashing, and blowing a kiss etc.
Books are a great way to work on finger pointing as well. You could point to the book and say “look, they’re reading a book” or “they’re hugging” etc. As well as, incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) signs for help, thank you, eat, all done and any others you may know. Have your little one face you, so they can see all of your gestures, signs, and mouth movements 🥰
