Backlog Resolution: Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall Part 1
0After a bit of searching, downloading, and a bit of info hunting, it's time to actually start playing Daggerfall. Tasked by the Emperor with finding justice for a long dead ally, as well as retrieving what seems to be some lost mail, we make our way through the first dungeon and then mess about in the world a bit because I forgot what town the beginner's guide told me to visit. This is going to be a long one.
The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall (known as Daggerfall from here on) is the second game in the Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda. Daggerfall is about as open as an open world RPG can get, with radiant quests, an enormous map to explore, randomly generated dungeons, and substantial character and class customization options. Freely available and enhanced by Daggerfall Unity and its many mods, this game is one of the most customizable role-playing experiences on PC for anyone with the patience and drive to learn.
