First released in 2012, Hitman: Absolution was a return to the world of Agent 47 that also sought to attract new players into the life of the legendary ICA agent on a personal mission to prevent his tragic existence from being imposed on an innocent child. Encouraging stealth, precision, and creativity, Absolution was an important stepping stone between the original trilogy and the World of Assassination trilogy.

A quick mission to finish the main antagonist before we have ourselves the biggest shootout in the game yet chasing Travis through a graveyard. Time to tie up loose ends. Due to how short Mission 19 was, I decided to finish the series by putting the missions together. I did fiddle around with the grinder/mulch machine a bit much, but yeah, an actual shootout and a showdown with a trio of "the best" mercenaries in the business apparently.
This game was a mixed bag for me. I found a lot to like about it, but there was also quite a bit that dragged me down. The pacing is very poor in places, and the stages where you have to evade something like a dozen cops or agency mercs for multiple sections in a row just suck all the enthusiasm right out of me. Still worth playing I would say, but definitely wait for a sale before spending anything on it.
