In Bad North: Jotunn Edition, positioning is key. This is a minimalist game, whose aim is to present a very limited range of mechanics -- but flesh them out to damn near perfection. Positioning is one; a rock-paper-scissors mechanics is the next. Bad North is an excellent example of "Simple to get into, difficult to master."
