Welcome to our fourth livestream cookalong. Join Mrs Barry, Phoebe, Chloe & Barry as they make a simple banoffee pie at home! #barrylewis #banoffeepie #cookalong

Recipe:
300g Digestive Biscuits or any biscuits you have lying around| 100g Melted Butter | ½ tin of caramel (approx 200g) | 1 banana | 120ml Double Cream | Grated chocolate to top (optional)
You’ll need: lined 16cm springform tin, 2 mixing bowls, rolling pin & ziplock bag, chopping board, electric whisk.

Bash the biscuits into fine crumbs with a rolling pin in a zip lock bag or just whizz up! Tip these into a mixing bowl and pour in the melted butter, mix well to coat, press into the bottom and the sides of the tin to form a base and a wall. Put into the fridge temporarily. Meanwhile whip the cream in a clean bowl with the electric whisk until stiff peaks form. Slice up the banana into thin strips. Place the banana pieces on top of the biscuit base, pour over the caramel, then add the cream on top, top with grated chocolate if using or sprinkle on more biscuit crumbs if you have any spare. Chill for at least 3 hours.
