Bari Bari Densetsu or "Motorcycle Legend" is a racing game developed in 1989 by Taito's 2nd Development Section (KZM Team) and is based on Shuichi Shigeno's manga and OVAs of the same name, and is often considered the forerunner to "Initial D", which was also created by Shigeno. The game's approach isn't too different from other racers of the time like Rad Racer or Pole Position with simple backdrops and streamlined circuits with a great sense of speed (but features motorcycles and no Arcade-Style time limit), and it's actually not as fondly remembered due to its really long levels and limited game modes/options (which are about standard issue for the time actually), so the game banks primarily on its name recognition / license.

While old, the game does not look too impressive by PCE standards and has no music during races, which "could" be considered a turn-off. The two good aspects of the game is that you can adjust the handling of your motorcycle to suit different weather conditions and your bike handles quite well. It's very playable if a little plain, but it's hard to recommend this to those who aren't Bari Bari Desetsu fans as there are simply better games of this kind that are easier to acquire. This is a video of the game in action. Enjoy.
