The Simpsons: Bart & the Beanstalk est un récit du conte de fées anglais Jack and the Beanstalk avec des personnages des Simpsons. Bart Simpson est envoyé pour échanger la dernière vache des Simpson contre de la nourriture et il finit par l'échanger avec Monty Burns contre des haricots magiques et une fronde. Homer Simpson crache les haricots par la fenêtre où ils poussent en une tige massive atteignant les nuages. Le jeu est un jeu de plateforme avec quelques éléments de tir. Le joueur, en tant que Bart, doit sauter entre les plates-formes et les vignes à travers toutes sortes de dangers délicats jusqu'au château du géant dans les nuages et le faire redescendre vivant. Bart peut utiliser sa fronde et diverses armes qu'il trouve en cours de route pour vaincre les ennemis qui bloquent son chemin. Il y a sept niveaux au total.

RétroGaming 2.0 Presents you "Bart and the Beanstalk"Once upon a time... Bart Simpson had a cow, man. He traded it for some magic beans which grew into a giant beanstalk. If he can scale the stalk, overcome giant bugs, mash monstrous mice, and grab the Giant's loot, he'll become a zillionaire faster than you could say "I DIDN'T DO IT!" The Simpsons: Bart & the Beanstalk is a retelling of the English fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk with Simpsons characters. Bart Simpson is sent to trade the Simpsons' last cow for some food and he ends up trading it to Monty Burns for some magic beans and a slingshot. Homer Simpson spits the beans out the window where they grow into a massive stalk reaching into the clouds. The game is a platformer with some shooter elements. The player, as Bart, must jump between platforms and vines through all sorts of tricky hazards to the giant's castle in the clouds and make it back down alive. Bart can use his slingshot and various weapons he finds along the way to defeat the enemies that block his path. There are seven levels in total.
