Playing this for The Deepest Dive, a Game Club style show on MinnMax's channel. I think this is goping to be a great one because EasyAllies's, Brandon Jones, the biggest Batman fan I am aware of will be a guest.

I played Arkham Asylum when it first came out on the 360 in 2009 and thought the game was groundbreaking on a few different levels. Not only was the game beautiful, but the combat system was so fluid and fun. It was the best hero game ever in my opinion at the time, and just playing the first area here, I can say with confidence the game really holds up for being 11 years old. This is the remaster so the game undoubtedly looks better, but I don't know if the gameplay changed any.

It does show its age in some of the gameplay elements. It has a collect-a-thon aspect to it that I would hope a game like this today wouldn't necessarily have. The combat is very simplistic, but still satisfying. Despite these little nitpicks the acting is excellent and the writing is surprising and smart that still holds up.
