If you have Batman: Arkham Knight for PC, but you're really bummed out about not being able to play Batman: Arkham VR on the PS4... good. It doesn't look very good, anyway.
Okay, I'll admit, it looks pretty cool, and the concept is amazing, so what are you going to do about it? Well, it may not be exactly like Arkham VR, but the codes this mod is made up of, including a first-person camera, disabled combat effects and invisible character meshes to remove their glitchy-as-hell bodies you look through every time you look down, make you really feel like you're looking through the eyes of Batman himself! Besides, wouldn't you rather play Arkham VR in open-world Gotham with endless possibilities and not in an hour-long linear Batman sim using a pair of big, heavy goggles and a Wii remote ripoff? Yeah, that's what I thought.
NOTICE: Read the notes below before using the mod!

First-Person Mod by Tchi6.
Invisible Batman code by ArkhamForever.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
---
1) Change the Batmobile's pursuit mode camera to first-person (RB on Xbox controller, F on keyboard) to stop the camera from glitching horribly.
2) Apply the code when entering the Batmobile to keep the cockpit open (using the line "set BmGame.RSpecialMoveInstance_DriveCar CockpitOpen false").
3) Do one of three things if you want to use dual-play with Robin:
- Add these lines to the code below:

set SkeletalMesh'Robin_BM3_Mesh.Mesh.Robin_BM3_Skin' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
set SkeletalMesh'Robin_BM3_Mesh.Mesh.Robin_BM3_Skin_Body' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
set SkeletalMesh'Robin_BM3_Mesh.Mesh.Robin_BM3_Cape_Skin' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))

You can also add this line to remove the capes from DLC skins:

Set BmGame.RCapeComponent IsCapeHiddenGame 1

- Switch to any dual-play character EXCEPT Robin, who is required in the story and Batgirl's DLC
- Give up and play as a magic carpet
4) Delete the line of the code "set RAddContentPlayerCharacterMesh BodyMesh None" and THEN apply it before surrendering to Scarecrow and completing the end of the story after, as removing your belt crashes the game. You don't need to delete it when playing as other characters in that section.
5) Keep the post-Arkham City suit selected for two reasons:
- It's the batsuit in Arkham VR, obviously
- His head will stay invisible during certain cutscenes
- All the other batsuits' heads will still appear in certain cutscenes
The new and pristine batsuits' heads will appear in certain cutscenes, as well.

INSTRUCTIONS:
---
1) Get all of your mesh-swapping files ready.
2) Go to console.txt and enter this code:

set R3rdPersonCamera DoAdamsCrazyCam 1
set RAddContentPlayerCharacterMesh BodyMesh None
set RAddContentPlayerCharacterMesh CapeMesh None
Set SkeletalMesh'Batman_BM3_Mesh.Mesh.Batman_BM3_Skin_Head' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
Set SkeletalMesh'Batman_BM3_Mesh.Mesh.Batman_BM3_Skin_Body' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
Set SkeletalMesh'Batman_BM3_V2_Mesh.Mesh.Batman_BM3_V2_Skin_Head' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
Set SkeletalMesh'Batman_BM3_V2_Mesh.Mesh.Batman_BM3_V2_Skin_Body' Stretches ((Bone="Bip01",Scale=0.0,Phase=STRETCHPHASE_PreRender))
set BmGame.RInventoryGadget bUsableFromVantagePoints True
set BmGame.RVehicleBatmobileBase DisableJumpCamera 1
set BmGame.RSpecialMoveInstance_DriveCar CockpitOpen false
set BmGame.RPersistentDebugData Debug_Combat_DisableStrikeTrails True
set BmGame.RPersistentDebugData Debug_Combat_DisableImpactVFX 1

3) Enter the game and mash the key as it loads.
4) The dynamic duo, together at last!
