I finally managed to play Arkham Origins' multiplayer despite having a very hard time finding a match. The problem with this game is that a room is required to be full for the session to start. Online in this game seems to be so unpopular as there are so few players available.

The basic premise of the Invisible Predator match is that there are three sides of the war who are vying for victory. One side composes of our heroes Batman and Robin (Tim Drake), the Jokerz, and the Bane thugs. Purpose of the heroes is to scare both gangs to death by performing takedowns and beatdowns. Purpose of the two gangs are to kill each other until one gang runs out of respawns. They can also win by killing the heroes and gaining control points scattered through the map.

I ended up as a thug in Bane's group, and although I managed to get a few kills we still end up getting clobbered in the end. At first I thought detecting Batman and Robin would be easy as you can search the perimeter thoroughly unlike the AI in the single player game. However, with the surreal amount chaos and frenetic action it's so easy to be distracted and leave an opening for the heroes to attack. At one point in the game you can get to control the head honchos Bane and Joker themselves. I'm not sure on what the conditions are in order to control them. Joker in particular can be a big pain in the ass once he's released.

The game could've been fun if there are more players available so we could start a session right away. Oh well, you can't have it all.
