My first tryout in playing Arkham Origins featuring the first boss fight of the game, Killer Croc (aka Waylon Jones). This time he's in cahoots with Black Mask (whoever that guy is, looks like a Red Skull ripoff but it could be the other way around). The strategy into beating him is nearly similar to fighting Bane in Arkham Asylum where you dodge his bum rushes and then attack when he leaves himself open. As usual, mooks will be sent in to make things tougher.

In terms of mechanics the difference with this game compared to Arkham Asylum is the presence of the beatdown, where you stun the enemy with your cape and then mash the left mouse button to unleash a flurry of punches until the maximum number of hits is achieved. The quick Batarang is still available but requires pressing 1 twice to use unlike pressing Q. Batman also has access to most of his gear from the very beginning like the explosive gel and Bat Claw (which is for some reason unusable in combat yet). There are also new items available, like the smoke grenade which works the same way as the smoke bomb in Assassin's Creed.

Overall, the game is fun. The only thing I regret is setting the difficulty to the highest setting. I think I'm going to die...a lot.
