This is the first time I tried using Fukua in the game since her release. So far, she's a bit difficult to use or maybe because my muscle memory sucks.

Storywise, I heard she's one of the clones created by Lab Zero through a freak accident. She's a composite of two warriors combining damage and stealth. Meta-wise she resulted from Mike Z's typographical error when he moved his right hand one key to the left when typing Filia's name.

She plays nowhere near Filia, despite being a mere palette-swap. She has combined the best of both huge damage and zoning capabilities with command grabs and armor to boot. Technically, she's also the second grappler in the game after Cerebella and before Beowulf. To balance things out her air dash and DP are removed. It's quite a bummer that her QCF grab has the same animation as her QCB grab with only delay and armor being the difference between the two. Her level 3 (a modified version of Fenrir Drive and Trichobezoar) has bigger raw damage in my opinion, but her level 5 (similar to Squigly's Daisy Pusher) has bigger combo potential and it said to reverse damage scaling.

Oddly enough, she's a well-received character despite being a mere palette-swap. A complete contrast compared to the people's reception to Decapre. Hell, someone in the Skull Heart forums favor her over the original.

Now when's Big Band?
