Story Recap - Batman just came from Bane's HQ, though despite learning that Bane has discovered Batman's identity as Bruce Wayne, Firefly starts his attack on Gotham by attacking the Gotham Pioneers Bridge with 4 bombs. Batman heads into the bridge with the sole goal of disarming each bomb. Disarming 3 of the 4, Batman is left with no choice but to face Firefly from here. Captain Gordon and his team of Bomb Squad officials disarm the final bomb during Batman's fight with the pyromaniac. After successfully stopping Firefly and making sure he's behind bars, Batman heads back to the Batcave to ensure security, until Bane interrupts his Batwing Comm. Bane invades Wayne Manor and the Batcave, destroying it and nearly killing Alfred, leaving "Enough life in him for final goodbyes". Batman, upon arrival needs to shift through the rubble of the Batmobile Prototype to dig Alfred out of the rubble, though Alfred dies shortly after. After having a minor discharge from his Shock Gloves, Batman uses them to act as Defibrillation Units to resuscitate Alfred. From this point, Batman learns that a man's strength comes from his allies.
