It exist two known betas of the Batman game.
This is the early one, with lots of differences. The only difference in the later Beta seems to be some debug features on the second controller.
As for the differences in this game...
All cutscenes are different. They didn't really feel like they were from the movie, so DC or WB probably demanded Sunsoft to make them more on par with the movie.
The Joker is not a boss. DC/WB probably demanded Sunsoft to add him in the 11th hour.
The bosses got different HP values. The first boss seems to have twice as much HP, while the fourth boss seems to have much less, it barely shows it second attack.
There is a 1up on the first stage. The released game got no 1ups at all.
The EEV enemy is must faster and harder.
The item drop seems different, giving more hearts.
