This must be one of the most boring games I've ever played and I can't figure out why...
It is a movie licensed game, based on the first live-action movie, but the game itself is not bad, it is great compared to the bad licensed games...
The graphics are pretty good. Sure, Fred looks like he is wearing clown makeup and Wilma looks like Marge Simpson, but other than that...
The game got 7 acts split into smaller levels, and graphically nothing is reused between those acts. The bosses are all different and requires different strategies to be defeated (I really love that coffee boss). You play as 4 different characters during the game and while they all control the same, it is nice with some variation.
The controls are great, I wish the old Simpsons games were this good.
The music... nothing special, but good enough to let it play in the background.
It got multiple minigames, some based on classic arcade games, and each level got tons of stuff to collect. And it is not hard, just... long...
That is the biggest flaw with this game, it is too long for being a handheld game. I got bored and stopped exploring and collect stuff, and yet it took me almost two hours to complete the game. It really needs a save feature, or at least a password system.
It got a level select cheat, but that feels like the wrong way to fix this problem.
It had been more acceptable if it was a Nes game, and more people would probably remember it then.
