1I play Battle of Antietam the first time. The graphics to me appear more refined compared to earlier war games. I am not sure if this is really because of the small details that define the individual tiles though. The other thing I can think of is that instead of a hex based game, the tiles here are square shaped and these square shape tiles create a better illusion of a map compared to what we can see in earlier games. The game play is still very slow though. The processing power of the 8-bit computers make these games a drag to play.
