16-year-old Praggnanandhaa took on the 12-year-old Abhimanyu Mishra at the 6th round of the Reykjavik open 2022. At some point Praggnanandhaa had become the youngest IM in the world at the age of 10 years and 10 months. Abhimanyu had broken that record subsequently and also the record of the youngest GM in the world. It was a game that everyone was looking forward to. Pragg came up with some excellent bit of opening preparation. Abhimanyu played the opening well and managed to equalize and then came the blunder! A huge mistake. But it was not at all easy to see. IM Sagar Shah explains the nuances in this video.
