Battlefield 1 DX11 VS DX12 Ultra Settings | RX 480 8GB | Simulated i5 6600K 3.7GHz
Battlefield 1 is finally here so time to check out if there is any difference in performance by running this game in DX12 over DX11.
This time I will be turning off Hyper Threading to simulate an i5 6600K performance, And at the request of some viewrs I have even reduced clock speeds
When selecting DX12 mode you get a small message that says
"Using the DirectX 12 API can offer significantly better performance on some systems ; however, it will not be beneficial on all"
