BATTLEFIELD 2042 || REDUX - SHUTDOWN
0This week featured the return of my favorite limited-time-mode that originally appeared in Season 4 (hence the thumbnail) and I've been loving it. As for smaller modes in BF games, this is one of my favorites of all time from any entry in the franchise.
For those that aren't familiar with it, the attacking team must place lances at the objectives and defend them while they "capture data' from them (aka generate score) up to a cap per objective. Once the first round ends, the defenders have an opportunity to try their hand at attacking and their goal is to either get the same score their opponent's achieved in a faster time OR get a higher score before the round ends.
It's a great mode that could've honestly been more of a competitive one in some alternate reality where there ended up being a 2042 E-sports scene. Hope you enjoy!
