XMEN '97 Intro Theme || Archetype Petrucci by Neural DSP
13It might be April Fool's, but this song is no joke. One of the best cartoons from the 90s recently came back into action and I knew I had to get this uploaded. I used to play this with a band I was in during high school, so I've actually known it for close to 20 years, lmao.
This is a super cut and dry production, so there's nothing fancy going on in terms of the video. I figured I'd give props to the new intro rather than my stupid face, so while I'll be visually present and playing, I've relegated myself to a corner. I did overdub a few parts in the second half of the song itself, but mainly just to bulk up the guitar elements a bit; I can't be bothered to film two different takes to show me playing both though, so deal with it. They're octaves and thirds; if you can't figure it out on your own, I don't know what to tell ya.
