Along with late-game Base Defense, late-game Convoy Ambush is one of the mission types that people generally hate. In the mid-game like this, it's not quite so bad, but there are some map types like Lunar that you have to race to catch the convoy and you just can't do those late-game.

Here, my Warhammer starts having a hard time with these harder targets. It's a great bully against lights and some mediums, but it's starting to slow against other heavy mechs.
