1Technos had little or no credited involvement in the production of the game outside of the Double Dragon license.
Rare, which produced several games as contract work for other intellectual properties in the late 1980s and early 1990s, received little feedback from the owners of the Double Dragon license.
There are a couple of cheats that allows to select the starting level (for example: Level Select & 5 lives: on the character select screen press: B, A, Down, C, A, Down, Start)
Warping, however, will have a side effect: when you'll beat the game, you'll have the "cheat ending".
