7Secrets Here. You can skip Climaxes if theres multiple enemies on the same type!! I discovered this by accident the other day. This combined with the mighty Sergey’s Lover sword lunge is helping shave even more time off my runs.
This is great for instakilling some annoying enemies, just use a tiny burst of Witch Time from the Bracelet of Time and you can still support Sergey’s Lover. Also try running around to collect butterflies if you know a barrier will take a while to break, unless you have enough Purple Butterflies.
I’m also noticing some situations you can open your inventory instantly, but other times you need to wait a moment. If you need to wait you should either start moving or activate an accessory instead. As long as you spawn on the ground you can always start activating Sergey’s Lover or Bracelet of Time during the loading screen.
I pause the loading screen and start some actions before pressing select. You can hold other inputs while doing this, that’s how I’ll often be performing actions instantly after cutscenes or loading screens.
A few mistakes at the very end cost me a few seconds.. It’s pretty easy to get stuck on those stupid statues and objects at various points in this chapter. Fortunately this didn't ruin the run since I managed to save a ton of time by skipping a Climax.
