Well, I had a feeling that I wasn't going to beat it this time. That being said, I do feel confident that it should only take me one more session to wrap things up. That new trick I mentioned last time may not have sped things up nearly as much as I hoped, but it boosted my morale heavily.
Honestly, I probably could've powered through and wrapped things up this time... but after watching The Game Awards, I just didn't really have the energy to go above and beyond. I was surprised by the sheer amount of announcements that actually got me hyped this year. Most years, the only reveal that gets me excited is the first one on the pre-show -- which is usually treated like a throwaway by both the showrunners and the general audience for the show. So I was motivated to call it quits at my usual time, just to discuss some of the cool stuff there.
I've got no idea if I'm going to have enough points for the good ending once I finish the game... but at this point, I don't really care. You can really only miss out on ten of the game's full 100 points before you get saddled with the bad ending and I'm not sure how many I've missed out in this playthrough.
