I know that I usually try to avoid getting cocky when it comes to wrapping up games, but this was definitely one of those cases where it felt like a sure thing going into this session. But despite all that, I did have trouble finding some of those blade shards. Fortunately, once I figured out just how important the Mask of Shadows was to obtaining each piece, things became way easier.

It was interesting to fight Uriel again for one of the Armaggedon Blade pieces. Considering how I absolutely obliterated her the first time we fought, thanks to a well-timed Chaos transformation. She had way more health this time, so I actually had the opportunity to learn how to avoid and counter her attacks for the rematch. Of course, with all of the health I had -- and the fact that I accidentally used a Life Shard -- I was never in any danger of losing.

The same could be said for the final boss fight with the Destroyer. It did take me a while to figure out how to attack the first form, but I was never in any real danger of losing that fight either. If anything, the biggest hurdle to finishing the game tonight was just collecting the remaining pieces of the Armageddon Blade. Waiting to counter the second form was just annoying though.

It seems pretty unlikely that I'll stream the other games in the series, just because of how long they are. I do already have II and III on Steam, so I'll probably play at least the second game on my own at some point. I'm not that big on Souls-like though, so I'm not sure if I'll ever tackle the third game as well.
