HEY LOOK...ANOTHER SEGA ARCADE GAME THAT NEVER GOT A HOME PORT! This series may as well be "Sega's Unported Playlist" lolol...but today we have Spikers Battle from Sega on the Sega NAOMI arcade board. It's a 3D vs beat em up / 3D fighting game hybrid based on Spikeout...another arcade game on Model 3 that Sega never ported home! Retro gaming fail on the Sega side here!

So we decided to extend this playlist from 10 games to does it even matter what the count is anymore? lol it's a lot!

Spikers Battle is an interesting game. It takes half of SpikeOut (the models, the universe, and the moveset) and turns it into a Power Stone style vs fighting game...that still plays more like a beat em up arcade game! It's no Final Fight or Streets of Rage...but it's a legit fun retrogaming experience and another game that was SUPPOSED to get a Dreamcast port and never did.

You can play this on original NAOMI hardware or via emulation on Demul or Flycast. Emulators for the win if you don't have NAOMI hardware like I do. Although its a fun video game collecting thing to get into!

Its definitely both an obscure video game and a rare video game though...so if you ever see a cabinet give it a shot!
