Campaign stage 29 is incredibly hard. You're allowed only 5 bad cuts (but misses are ok, and you can't fail the level by missing too much), and the song has some very VERY fast swinging near the end. And you must score 400k points. I had to practice the song on Expert in Solo mode with Slow speed. I start out here warming up in Solo mode before trying the Campaign stage again. Two tries this time, and I beat it! Whew.

I found that little graduation hat in the Solo menu that allows me to go straight to the part of the song that I was having by far the worst trouble with - that incredibly fast sextuplet of triple beats near the end (at time 9:26 in the video). That was a huge help.

So glad to have that stage beaten.

I've seen people say that despite hitting all the cubes with no misses, they still couldn't get 400k to beat the stage. All I can say is swing wide (90 degrees before and 30 degrees after the cut) and strike dead center to get the most points out of every cube. Play this stage like you frickin' mean it, because it takes your all.

I realize now, that since I scored 425k, and the fast beat section is only worth 11k, that I could have just let that just slide by me (remember, misses don't fail the level at all) and build up the x2 x4 x8 multiplier again to finish the level. But pff, who wants to do that?
