Surprisingly good, considering the 1st game wasn't. This one is a different game from the PC version, which was semi hub/open world; you could backtrack to levels in the area you are in. Here, it's just straight levels.

To beat the game you go through 19 levels. The Strogg, a cyborg race, is trying to genocide the Earth. You are a Space Marine and are here to stop them.

They got rid of the nail gun and the guns are more realistic this time around, which I like. (Though the BFG 9,000 from Doom is here, it's called the BFG 10,000 here)

This is one of the better 1st-person shooters for the N64, I'd recommend it.
